The course to success – learning with Kitecity

Kitecity is the most well known and most experienced kite boarding seminar since 2001. More than thousand riders have learned kiting with Kitecity.

4 principles apply for Kitecity’s training concept:

  1. Kitecity is for every rider. This implies that every Kitecity seminar is devoted to all rider levels, from the beginner to the unhooked student. Each Kitecity coach teaches all levels, because they have all great riding and teaching skills with educational knowledge.
  2. One Kitecity coach takes care of five participants with about the same level.
  3. Kitecity has the latest and appropriate equipment for all levels available. Beginners and intermediate are mainly trained with bow kites with a large depower range. For advanced students we have powerful hybrid or c-kites in the pool.
  4. The training is whenever possible on the water. Blocks with theories we usually do when we have worse wind conditions. The time flying a kite counts for making great learning progress. This requires qualified coaches and guarantees the high standard of performance of Kitecity.

A day with Kitecity

A normal Kitecity day depends on the wind and tide conditions. In Egypt we have in summer and winter wind all day and night long with about 10 to 27 knots (3 – 6 Beauforts).The wind starts soft in the morning and reaches his high intensity around noon and keeps it till sunset.

A typical day with Kitecity:
